Momma Goldberg’s Announces New Glenn Dean Location Opening

Gotta Have Your Momma’s Love at Momma Goldberg’s Deli New Location at the Corner of Glenn Avenue and Dean Road in Auburn, Alabama.

Momma Goldberg’s Deli, a fast-casual deli specializing in hot, steamed sandwiches, has developed a new location in Auburn, Alabama to spread the love!  The deli opened Monday, May 13, 2024, at the corner of Glenn Avenue and Dean Road sharing a building with Circle K.  The address is 804 E Glenn Ave, Auburn, Alabama.

Momma Goldberg’s Deli originated in Auburn and opened for business in September 1976. Founder Don DeMent developed the concept to offer dining variety to the community and college students. “At the time, most of the food establishments in the Auburn area were the sit-down country-cooking type or burgers and fries,” DeMent said. “I wanted to offer the community a high-quality deli product at an affordable price in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.”  In 2007, the deli began franchising and has since expanded its reach across Alabama and into Georgia, with a total of 10 locations including this new location.

“We are very excited to be opening an additional deli in Auburn, extending our footprint and making it more accessible to our fans with our second drive through in Auburn”, says Nick Davis, President & CEO.  Other area locations include the original Momma Goldberg’s on Magnolia Avenue as well as our S. College location on Longleaf Drive and our Tiger Town location on Frederick Road in Opelika.

Momma Goldberg’s Deli offers a variety of menu choices ranging from hot sandwiches and soups to fresh salads. The award-winning Momma’s Love steamed sandwich is a must-try with its tasty combination of roast beef, ham, smoked turkey, and Muenster cheese, topped with shredded lettuce, tomato, and Momma’s Sauce. Pair this with an original recipe of Momma’s Nachos, which are Doritos smothered in melted pepper jack cheese with the option of jalapenos, and you will get the full Momma’s experience.

“We are happy to get the doors open on this new location to be able to serve our guests across Auburn – we have had many tell us how excited they are to have easier access to our Brand” say Daniel McClain, Operating Partner at Momma Goldberg’s.  He adds:  “We are testing a Momma’s breakfast at this new location starting soon – who does breakfast better than Momma?”
